In Dudh Dhara, Amarkantak, the water falls from around 12 feet. This is the second waterfall of River Narmada from its origin. The place is in thick forest and the steep descent from Kapil Dhara is not very easy. During rainy season one has to cross a few small streams to reach here. As this is a forest area one needs to be cautious and careful.

As per the Puranas it is said that Maharishi Durvasa meditated here. Earlier this place was called as Durvasa dhara but over a period of time the name got changed to Dudh dhara. As per the local lore Mother Narmada gave Darshan (Vision of the divine) to the Prince of Rewa in the form of milk stream here.

Chausath Yogini Temple near Jabalpur is one of the oldest heritage sites in India. It was built in the 10th Century AD by the Kalachuri kingdom and has a distinct resemblance to the temples of Khajuraho in structure.

The Chausat Yogini Temple is placed on a hill top. One has to climb 150 plus steps to reach the temple. The complex of the temple consists of 64 shrines in circular motion, one for each yogini and a main shrine where Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati are seen riding on Nandi, the sacred bull.

The temple looks beautiful in sunlight and inside, the idols of the Mother Goddess and Lord Shiva lend a divine aura. The design of the temple has been kept simple but the idols of yoginis are exquisitely carved, each one depicting a unique posture!

Panna National Park near Khajuraho is amongst the lesser known national parks located in Madhya Pradesh. Panna was given the Award of Excellence in 2007 as the best maintained national park of India by the Ministry of Tourism, India.

Among the animals found here are the tiger, chital, chinkara, sambhar and sloth bear. The park is home to more than 200 species of birds including the bar-headed goose, honey buzzard, king vulture and blossom-headed parakeet.
